The demand for maximum functionality without compromise was placed on the developers of the EnduroGuard suit. The result is a professional enduro suit of the new generation, made from specially developed materials and designed to create a completely new look. The base material is a proprietary development by BMW Motorrad in cooperation with textile experts from Schoeller: Dynatec, an extremely abrasion-resistant polyamide-polyester mix, processed as a 3-layer laminate with stretchable dynatec-stretch for premium comfort.
The EnduroGuard suit features a special protective fabric called ceraspace. It consists of extremely hard ceramic particles embedded in a polymer matrix – ceraspace is characterized by enormous robustness and high heat resistance. This innovative technology by Schoeller has already proven itself in military equipment and professional outdoor clothing. In the EnduroGuard suit, ceraspace is applied extensively to the elbows and forearms, providing maximum protection and, as a side effect, a very attractive appearance.
With the BMW Climate Membrane for optimal body climate, the EnduroGuard suit features another high-end material. Versatile ventilation zippers, the AirVent system, and other details give the rider the opportunity to perfect their personal comfort climate. The safety equipment includes the latest shoulders, and elbows.
